ARTIST NOTES: I am inspired by our natural coastline and by rock pools and reefs of The Encounter Marine Park.
This sculpture is influenced by our own Olivers Reef in Victor Harbor.
I love wading through the rock pools to see what natures treasures you can see.
This piece is made of Stoneware Clay and Cobalt Stain and fired at high temperatures. I don’t use many tools when working with clay. My hands and simple tools used to form the intricate patterns.
